History of 360 is short but turbulent. Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg invested several million euros in the restaurant, employing his private chef Gilles, a Frenchman that named the place after himself. But Gilles had already been past his professional prime, the restaurant was very pretentious, cooking was reckless and it failed fast. Then came Jeffrey Vella, a Maltese-Croatian chef that renamed the restaurant 360 by Jeffrey Vella. Thanks to beautiful views of Walls of Dubrovnik but also a great food, the restaurant flourished under Vella’s management. Vella than decided to leave Croatia in 2014. so 360 lost his name and his talent. Today, 360 is an upmarket restaurant for tourists. It is a fun and pleasant place with decent but overpriced food.
