Probably the smallest and the cheapest restaurant in town, Gajbica offers a quick and simple lunch in a charming shabby retro room. The owners Mia and Mario are restaurant business rookies but their joyous energy is spilling over to young, artistic and business crowd that mingle in their little eatery. This vegan friendly space is known for its blackboard with daily dishes based on the produce from nearby city market Dolac. The food is very simple, with tasty vegetable soups like carrot-feta and zucchini-mint as staples. You can have a big tuna salad, spiced chicken salad and scrambled eggs in a size of your choice. Guests mostly drink cold pressed beetroot, swiss chard, citrus and ginger smoothies and there is a steady demand for raw food organic cakes.
