Another popular tavern with a cult following. Konoba Pece’s philosophy of local slow food is condensed in a slogan “people should travel, not ingredients”. Pece is famous for chef Edi Grgurić’s local dishes with a lot of influences of Spanish and Portuguese cuisine. Menus depend on season, especially on catch of the day. Konoba Pece’s menu features classics like octopus stuffed with cheese from Pag Island, Vinjerac prosciutto, mare-monti risotto with cepes and shrimps, scampi with chickpeas and potato, and imaginative tapas. Special attraction is a courtyard grill where food is prepared in front of guests.
