In a small village of Fratria some 2 kilometers from Buje and Plovanija border crossing, there’s a lovely tavern Malo selo. Marušić family that manages Malo selo from its founding 1988. are experts in first seasonal asparagus and mushrooms, and fresh white and black truffles are offered throughout the year. Malo selo serves homemade pastas with old-school sauces, aged rumpsteaks and steaks sprinkled with black and white truffles, breads and cakes are baked in house. Winter is time for ombolo and sausages cooked on open fire. Reservation is adviced or you will probably have to wait for a table as many guests of Malo selo do, proving the smart concept and food quality of the tavern.
