At last, we don’t have to start a story on Riva restaurant with a description of that depressing view of Plomin power plants in its neighborhood. The Peteani family moved the restaurant into a hotel in the old city of Labin. Known for its huge scampi and fresh fish, former Riva now operates in Peteani family hotel in a 100 years old lavish villa with a charming ambiance. The food didn’t change with location, they still offer a nice choice of raw fish and shellfish, showing that owners managed to keep their reliable suppliers, and the excellent scampi/zucchini risotto is a guarantee that Peteanis will keep their high culinary standards. Solid start!
